Sanjay Saxena is a General Insurance veteran with 34 years of experience in various leadership positions in General Insurance industry.
He started his career as a Direct Recruit officer in National Insurance Company and post privatization of insurance industry in 2001, he made a shift and became part of a start-up team of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance.
He has handled many leadership positions in claims management, underwriting and as business head and was a member of Working Group for revisiting Surveyor Regulations formed by IRDA in 2018.
He is an alumnus of FMS, Delhi University and an Associate of Insurance Institute of India and brings with him wide experience in developing processes and service standards for business excellence.
With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, he has established himself as a visionary leader. His journey began at National Insurance Company at the age of 18 and he transitioned to Bajaj Allianz General Insurance after privatization in 2001 and then joined HDFC ERGO General Insurance in 2010.
In his last tenure he served as Vice President of Claims at HDFC ERGO General Insurance, overseeing Motor claims for North and East Zones. He had successfully implemented digital claims projects, integrating innovation and efficiency to fortify market position. He has demonstrated expertise in sales target management and fostering a culture of excellence, driving operational efficiency and stakeholder value.
He is alumnus of Bhartiya Vidyapeeth, Pune, Delhi University, Fellow of Institute of India, Certified Arbitrator, Management and Law Graduate.
